Jodorowsky’s Dune more or less represents everything I find laughable about his films in general. What’s supposed to be profound is just hilariously crass. I do wonder how some people will take that comment about not staying true to the book, “It’s like a beautiful woman, you get married but if you respect the woman, you will never have a child. So I rape….but with love. With love.”
That comment had me in fits of laughter. Spiritual guru? Metaphysical god? Yeah, right! Like fuck he is!
